The Migration, Globalisation and World Governance curriculum, taught in English, provides advanced knowledge and skills in the field of International Relations, with a special focus on the main features of migration trends and policies, globalization, problems of economic development, as well as related issues of global governance and role of international organizations.
Through specialized courses in a variety of disciplines, the curriculum offers students in-depth knowledge of key issues in international relations that deal with migration, globalisation and global governance, including best practices in migration policies, problems of underdevelopment, development assistance practices and global objectives and priorities. The courses cover specific issues related to economic development, international trade, demographic trends, international population policies, current migration flows, the role of the main international organizations, historical perspectives on conflicts, recent trends in poverty and inequality, sustainable development goals, social rights, climate change, world legal systems, foreign languages (Arabic, Chinese, French).
The course enables students to achieve a deep understanding of the globalization process in the contemporary international context, improving their knowledge and skills for analysing the most relevant international and global policy issues.
Students are also offered the opportunity to learn another language among Arabic, Chinese and French, which will increase their possibility to undertake an international career. English language proficiency is required to level B2.
International mobility: the degree programme offers students a wide range of possibilities to undertake part of their education programme abroad. Erasmus+ funds provide periods of study in European Programme/Partners Countries.
Students with a Master’s Degree in International Relations have a wide range of employment opportunities in both the public and private sector within international, regional, national and local organizations and institutions, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, public and private enterprises.

Teaching methods
Teaching methods include lectures, group discussions and individual students' presentations, interdisciplinary workshops, e-learning, small-group activities, laboratories, problem-solving, and internships. Lecture attendance is strongly recommended.
The composition of the committees and the calendar of exams are published on the website of the Department of Political Science at the beginning of each academic year.
