There are 59 faculty members in the Department of Political Sciences for the academic term 2014-2015. Disciplinary fields include history, law, sociology, statistical sciences, anthropology, psychology, economics, political sciences, linguistics and translation studies.

Various faculty members are involved in committees with the Italian government and International organizations; they include a Goldsmith Award prize from Harvand University, the Vice-President of European Association for Comparative Economic Studies, notable columnists working for leading national newspapers, and scholars responsible for leading journals, books and research projects in their fields.

Members of the staff have a very important role in managing the relationship between the teaching and student bodies.
